CS has been and gone. Its like the Beatles. Its had its time in the sun, we can still go back and play it over again, but its just not happening anymore.

Ventrilo and counterstrike complemented each other like 2 programs never will ever again.

Might be able to get us a private server as a GSP I'm helping could potentially owe me a favour or two. I'll check.

Though that all depends on

a ) you gits turning up on IRC
b ) being prepared to entertain arguments about how quake is infinitely better than CS, because I just fucking got hooked on Quake Live again. It's like Q3, but not shit.

Nah I wouldn't bother just yet Steve. There's not enough interest and the game just isn't ready for that much focus. Maybe look again when the next release comes.

Had a few rounds on this the past week and the 0.6 patch is actually showing some good CS 1.6 potential. Yes, CS has been and gone, but good for the occasional frag.
