Been playing this for a while now in the closed beta and it is about to enter the open beta stage, so i thought i would put it out there for some people who are looking for a new game to pass the time.

It's basically an online tank deathmatch game, played on various maps(they release more every patch) in which you win by destroying the opposition or by capping the enemey teams base. They are planning to implement a global clan wars system where you fight for control of territories very soon.

It's also pretty much much an arcade game and not a simulation so its very easy to get into and very addictive.

When you first join you start with a tier 1 tank of each nation (Russian,German,USA) in which you can upgrade and research the next tree with the credits and experience gained from the matches you play.

Each game only lasts for between 2 mins up to 15 mins maximum so its not to time consuming if you want a quick match.

Anyway its free to play so come and check it out if it interests you.

The site can be found Here.

My ingame name is Masuras so feel free to add me.

So its all PvP then? Sounds interesting.

Cant see anything from work, so excuse me for asking, is it going to be P2P when it comes out?

Its free to play, but you can purchase gold that allows you to upgrade your account to premium, which basically means you get 50% more xp and credits allowing you to progress that bit better.

As you progress through the different tank tiers the repair cost and ammo cost increase, meaning that at the highest tiers you can end up with a loss in credits after the battle. You wont end up in minus figures even if you play really bad until you hit about tier 7 onwards.

Would just like to point out though that you can operate a tier 10 tank, which is the highest you can get atm at a profit even without a premium account if you can play well, and even if you do lose some cash operating the max tier you can always subsidise it by playing a mid tier tank to raise cash.

Another point is that each tier of tank can only play a certain range, so you don't end up with a tier 1 against a tier 10.

Some of my best moments in game for me have been running about in a fully upgraded tier 2 tank so don't feel the need to rush or grind to get that tier 10 as soon as possible.

Been playing it for 4-5 days now, and liking it. It's like CS with tanks, short to medium teambased rounds, with more or less tactics involved.
Bought some gold (it's legal) to get a premium account for more credits + experience earned.
Started out with German tanks, not that i fancy germans but for me Tanks = German tanks, well so i thought, and i have recently trained American tanks (cause they look awesome).

Started with 2 light tanks and a tank destroyer, but recently been kicking around in a medium American tank (Lee) so i could finally unlock my T1 Heavy (American Heavy Tank), and i also bought a premium medium tank RAM II for some gold.
Can't wait to get of work and get in some games :)

One of the most useful tips I picked up on the wiki - if you die early, you do not suffer a penalty for exiting the battle and hopping in another tank and grinding that... saves a lot of time!

Been putting some more hours into it, and moved up a few tiers in medium and heavy tanks.
Atm my garage contains the following vehicles:
A20 (for lulz, zoom zoom)
Hetzer
4H Sherman
Sherman "easy 8"
T1 Heavy
T29

The enjoyment can be boiled down to one thing "match making". How you are mixed up with the opposing team, being either top tank, middle tank or bottom (cannon fodder) :)
My impressions so far of the tanks i have been using.
The T1 heavy with 660 HP at first feels like it lacking alot compared its KV opponents with their massive 150mm canon (1 shoots you if unlucky), but in matches where the T1 is top tank, you can really play agressively and play a dominating factor in the match. It speed, mobility and fast ROF guns makes it a joy to play.
Otherwise with to many higher tier tanks in match, hang back as support and play it more defensively.

M4 sherman with 410 HP is an awesome medium tank with its large howitzer HE shell canon. Fast nimble and packs a huge punch. Devastating for all same tier tanks and can really hurt larger tanks.

It's bigger brother the Sherman E8 with 600 HP (i think), has more health, but less hard shooting gun, and i always gets into matches where im facing some very hard opposition :/

The T29, with it's 1150 health and its upgraded 105mm gun, and massive turret armor, is a nice beast and very nice upgrade from the T1 heavy. Now you feel you can do something against the higher tier tanks, but ofc now you get to face some even harder ones :/ like IS, Is-3, IS-4 :( which are some tough bastards. If possible play it "hull down" meaning you try to only have the turret stick out when engaged in a shootout.

Otherwise im just collecting XP to try and advance up the higher tiers of medium US tanks, i would love to get a Pershing (a long way to go), and ofc the T30 heavy tank.

Russians seem to be an easy level up compared to the germans.

hetz, grille, pkfiii and a t26 in the garage atm.

Axey - have you got it working yet?
