Does anyone back home pay any attention to it?

I got into it about 3 years ago, great excuse for a drink a fun game, but was wondering is it televised in the UK on sky or anything?

It's occassionally on the beeb for the bigger competitions, but otherwise I don't think Sky have picked it up.

The guys that play sevens are absolute titans. The fitness on those guys is insane!

I prefer watching rugby union though. 7s games are very, very fast paced. One missed tackle almost invariably results in points as well. Two union sides playing against eacother makes it feel like its much more difficult to make any ground, and making a decent break in union against a decent side requires a decently co-ordinated team effort instead of one man making a break. Sevens feels alot more stripped back.

Union all the way - not league. Might be bigger and fitter, but the game doesn't flow, the scrums are shit and pointless, and lineouts........... Think I'll go now before Sticky starts! :P

Stil, not long untilt he 6 Nations kicks off :D

Played alot of Rugby 7's and 10's when i was younger, very very physically demanding game. Great Preperation for Union games as well, teams i used to play for well we used to play league rules for practise sessions etc as it was a bit more of a pansy way to play but it was a good way to learn how to avoid tackles.

7's and 10's tournaments are pretty common in the southern hemisphere and especially in the far east where i lived and worked, hell my Sister enjoys the Hong Kong Tournament every time its on, its a family day out.

Not surprising at all, Sticky. Union is the only true way.

I keep an eye on the Blitze Bokke in the news but don't actually watch the games, I think we won the most recent tournament

Bloody good stuff though, it's much faster the Union
