Have you been watching? If so what.

Been very engrossed in the archery and the badminton. Ive dabbled in a few other events aswell. Have to say the billions of HD channels available has made the games alot more interesting to me, allowing me to essentially pick and choose at will.

Couldnt give a fuck about the football though... or the tennis for that matter.

Yeah I've been engrossed in it. I love it all really - find myself getting swept into any sport at all. I agree though that the likes of tennis and football are less appealing - possibly being the greatest example of a break from the original spirit of the Olympics - as muddied as it is now with so little of what we'd consider to be amateur participation.

One thing I have liked about the football is different British nations playing together; it's got a nice feel that they're playing for each other. Even if it hasn't highlighted the need for an English anthem (Jerusalem please).

Been watching loads of the badminton and a small amount of the Judo.

Not really been following the games as a whole, not even up to date with medal total, but the badminton coverage has been excellent. Its the only one of the sports I actually do though, so not really managing to keep interest in anything else, just wait till 2020 and we get squash in as well!

Off to watch a session of the boxing on Friday. Put in for loads of tickets and that was the only one we got.
