Hi

I posted a while back regarding a HTPC I was specc'ing up well I am ready to purchase now, would anyone in the know be able to confirm the below will all fit together and should work?

Case - Silverstone Milo ML03B - 47.98
Processor - i3 3220 - 89.97
Motherboard - ASRock H77 Pro4-M - 63.73
TV Tuner - TBS 6280 - 87.99
Graphics - Asus 6450 - 31.99
Memory - Corsair XMS3 8GB - 35.99
PSU - Seasonic G Series 360w - 47.23
Processor Fan - Scythe Shuriken Rev.B - 26.60
Case Fan - 80mm Silverstone Suscool81 - 7.18

I realise the case is not the biggest but I am not putting in a blu ray player so I should be ok for space.

Cheers
Chris

Can't see anything wrong with that but if it is aimed at purely HTPC use then i would consider using the AMD FM2 platform as that'll save you having to chuck in the graphics card. But not stopping you throwing a gaming one in at a later date if the need arises.

and use a noctua case fan - http://www.overclock...2331&subcat=819
The cpu cooler does not state compatibility with FM2 but it does do FM1 and the layout is exactly the same so it'll work.

Also might have missed the obvious stated in a previous post.. what sort of storage are you planning on using?

Cheers for the info Rahr.

Will that processor be better than the i3 as it has more cores?

Is the GFX actually better than the graphics I was going to buy? If numbers are anything to go by it looks like it is!

Thanks again Rahr :D

It'll do just as well as the i3 for what you want to do with it and the integrated graphics are indeed better. At a push you should be able to do some gaming @ 720p from the info i have.

Thanks for this Rahr will get it all ordered and save myself a few quid, really appreciated.
