Heh that's quality. For a murderer.

I get McAfee SecurityCenter free with my plusnet account and was under the impression that it was one of the best security things for PCs. This video makes me think I might be wrong. It does update at the most random times and the scans make my laptop unusable, but I thought that was just my laptop being low-end. Oh dear.

When I worked for Egton we refused to use McAfee as it could crash the whole server if it started a scan or update whilst GPs were practicing.....

McAfee, like Norton, is a piece of shit. Get rid as soon as and replace with better quality components you actually want.

Tbh I use MSE at the moment and had no issues. I used to use Kerio Firewall and AVG anti virus but they became a bit of a pain to use.

I use avast - you get the odd pop up but you can turn them off in the options.
