We often wonder that when you make a thread.

But Croc what about all the other commands ?? radio commands ? weapon selection ? last weapon ? the buy button ?

that's why wasd is so dam good, everything is there, and you do not need to look at the keyboard to know where to press or move your hand to do something its all just there.

Numpad is blatantly for buy scripts, I'm with Zara you Nazi biggrin.gif

I have 7, 9, 1, 3. /, *, - all within the numpad box of control!

Plus the little finger can it up and right on the arrow keys.

Lots of mouse buttons to deal with anything extra but i've yet to play a game that requires that many binds close at hand.

Mines similar to Crocs, but slightly better. You're talking what, 19 keys all in all, more than enough to cover the options required in one neat package.

pfft next you'll be telling me thazt you use numpad 7 and 1 for strafe, 4 and 5 for back and forwards and flip your keyboard sideways biggrin.gif

WASD is not just a laszy these are the first keys I came across thing, they really thought about it, about which hand you will be using on teh keys, about where the keys are laid out, about giving you the most options at hand.
default is by far the most flexible layout.
